B. RESOLUTION APPROVING THE REIMBURSEMENT OF TRAVEL EXPENSES FOR THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE WASHINGTON COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY FOR THE PERIOD OF DECEMBER 2023 THROUGH NOVEMBER 2024.
C. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING WASHINGTON COUNTY HOUSING AUTHORITY TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH BLACK BOX CORPORATION, WITH A CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS AT INVER GROVE HEIGHTS, MN, AND A LOCAL OFFICE IN LAWRENCE, PA, FOR NEW TELEPHONE REPLACEMENT AT THE HOUSING AUTHORITY’S CENTRAL OFFICE UNDER THE PENNSYLVANIA COSTARS CONTRACT #4400020784, WHICH SAID CONTACT IS TO BE EXECUTED ON BEHALF OF THE AUTHORITY BY ITS PROPER OFFICERS, CONTRACT AMOUNT: $36,017.88.
D. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE SECTION 8 MANAGEMENT ASSESSMENT PROGRAM CERTIFICATION FOR THE YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2024.
CITY OF WASHINGTON:
A. RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING A CONTRACT WITH A1 ELECTRIC, INC. AS REGARDS THE EMERGENCY GENERATOR REPLACEMENT/RELOCATION AT CRUMRINE TOWER PROJECT, CITY OF WASHINGTON, WHICH SAID CONTRACT IS TO BE EXECUTED ON BEHALF OF THE AUTHORITY BY ITS PROPER OFFICERS. CONTRACT AMOUNT: $119,000.00.
DISCUSSION ITEMS:
1. HUD requires PHAs to have a Designated Housing Plan for buildings/properties that are categorized for use other than general occupancy. WCHA will be submitting a request for HUD approval on all high-rise and low-rise buildings to be designated for occupancy by near-elderly and elderly residents (age 55+).
